Nepalese turquoise and amber necklace

This Nepalese necklace is a classic example of local craftsmanship, combining natural stones and colorful accents into a harmonious whole. The eye is drawn to three larger amber elements in a warm, honey shade, contrasting with the cooler tones of green turquoise.

Alongside the amber, the necklace is adorned with numerous oval and irregular natural turquoise beads with a matte finish. Between them are woven cylindrical and spherical elements of red coral, as well as decorative spacers of oxidized metal in the Tibetan style.

The composition is based on a balance between color, form, and the rhythm of repetition, which allows the jewelry to sit well on the neck without being overwhelming. This versatile necklace works well as an ethnic accessory or with more minimalist styles.

The entire piece is completed with a convenient hook clasp. The necklace was handcrafted in Nepal – a region known for its jewelry craftsmanship based on a long tradition of craftsmanship and the use of local materials.
