Vintage taʿwīdh amulet
Old brass Ta'wiz / Taweez amulet decorated with colored glasses. Traditionally, this pendant was used by Bedouin women as an amulet in which sacred verses from the Quran were placed to protect them from the curse called Nazar ("Evil Eye").
