Afghan brass chain

A minimalist tribal chain from Afghanistan, crafted from bright, unlacquered metal with a raw finish. It consists of rhythmically arranged flat disc pendants suspended from twisted links, which create a distinctive rhythm and a subtle sound when moved.

This is a typical form of adornment used in traditional Afghan women's costumes – worn at the hips, in bonnets, or as part of ceremonial jewelry. The discs served not only a decorative function but also a symbolic one – it is believed they protected against the ""evil eye.""

The product is sold by the meter, cut every 10 cm. This means you can purchase exactly the amount you need for your own jewelry projects or costume reconstructions. Each section contains a specific number of pendants – proportional to the length ordered.

Due to the nature of cutting from large chains and the handmade nature of this product, this product is non-returnable. Minor variations in length, color, and metal patina are possible, which is a hallmark of authentic Afghan craftsmanship.
