Antique Kuchi Bell Earrings

An original pair of vintage Kuchi earrings from Afghanistan. Crafted from a silver-like metal estimated at approximately 800 fineness – unmarked, but consistent with the typical techniques and materials used by Afghan artisans in ethnic jewelry.

The earrings' design is based on an openwork panel with an intricately twisted pattern, inset with colored glass in red and green – a typical color scheme symbolizing strength and fertility in Kuchi culture. At the bottom, several tiny bells hang, making a subtle sound when worn – not only a decorative element, but also a talisman protecting against the evil eye.

These earrings were not only jewelry but also a form of expression of tribal identity – worn during important ceremonies and often passed down from generation to generation. Their form is somewhat raw, with visible traces of handcrafting, which indicates their authentic origin and age.

For collectors of ethnic jewelry and lovers of the Orient, this is a unique piece of history – full of sound, rhythm, and the magic of the Afghan steppes.
