Long silver tribal earrings

Delicate yet expressive – these long earrings made of approximately 800 fine silver come from Afghanistan, from regions inhabited by Pashtun or Hazara peoples. Each earring is composed of a chain of interconnected rosettes, reminiscent of ritual stamps or ancient protective ornaments.

The design, though simple, conceals profound symbolism – the repetition and symmetry of the rosettes could symbolize the continuity of life, balance, and protection from evil. These types of earrings often accompanied women in everyday life, as well as during ceremonial occasions – not too heavy, comfortable to wear, but always visible.

Hanging on classic hooks, these earrings are in good condition, with the patina of time visible. They are a beautiful combination of simple form and intricate craftsmanship, characteristic of Afghan jewelry workshops of decades ago.

This is a unique example of jewelry with a cultural origin, which can be worn today as a discreet amulet, a collector's item, or a sentimental decoration that combines history and applied art.
