Pole Dance - be sexy

As you know, any type of dance allows you to show your own self. The same is true of pole dance, which also allows for an artistic way of expression. Thanks to its past, pole dancing is erroneously associated only with erotic dancing performed by strippers in nightclubs, where one of their main props is a pipe. Pole dance is much more than that. It can even be said to be devoid of erotic overtones.

In the past it was actually performed only in strip nightclubs while currently it is a combination of dancing and performing acrobatic figures. This way of presenting art has gained great popularity especially as a full-body workout. Thanks to the benefits that pole dancing brings, more and more people, more and more women are taking up attending classes. In addition, many women see it as a dance that gives tremendous space, allowing any woman to feel sexy. For the past few years, even the biggest stars have given themselves over to this dance to the fullest, because in addition to pleasure, they know how it changes their appearance.

The use of the pipe for exercise purposes took place as early as about 800 years ago in India. Amazing gymnastic presentations were practiced mainly by Indian wrestlers using hand-carved wooden poles, which in shape could resemble today's metal pipes. The poles were used to polish skills while performing a traditional Indian sport called "mallakhamb." Men performed acrobatics to help them gain the necessary agility, agility and strength.

The next application was around 1920 in the circus, where performers performed stunts - sometimes at heights - in front of an audience. In time, pole dance took to bars, where it was combined with another equally charismatic dance - burlesque. At the same time pole dancing began to appear in strip clubs, where it took on a rather gross form. Proponents of more than just shedding clothes to the rhythm of music and rocking their hips decided to show the world what pole dancing should really look like. They also decided to prove that it is a physical activity that deserves to be counted as an art. That's why the IPSF (International Pole Sport Federation) decided to fight to add pole dancing to the existing Olympic categories. All this so that at the 2016 Olympics, professional dancers can be seen performing intricate stunts on the pole

Many dancers deserve recognition. Nevertheless, there is one person who I think is worth mentioning. This is Canadian dancer Fawnia Dietrich, who is a recognizable person in this industry. She has earned her name as a pioneer of pole dancing, particularly in her role as a teacher. I wanted to add that it was with her in the lead role that the first instructional video released on DVD was created in 1994. Since then she has managed to record seven instructional videos. In addition, she travels all over the world to teach other willing women how to pole dance. Thanks to her skills and charisma, she has become one of the most famous and respected dancers performing stunts on the pole.

As I mentioned at the beginning of the article, pole dancing should not really have an erotic tinge, since it has an athletic character. The main idea of pole dance is to perform remarkable acrobatics using a metal pipe. This dance has become so famous that there are numerous tournaments, competitions and even championships. I would add that it is not aimed only at the fair sex - both men and women can attend classes. Pole dancing leads to a slender and extremely strong body. One of its main tasks is precisely to improve physical fitness and put the dancing person in the best possible mood. Not only does it prove useful in shedding excess weight, it also strengthens many muscle parts at once.

This dance is an intensive workout that requires having a stretched and strong body. However, nothing is impossible, so even if you do not have the above-mentioned factors, you should not cross yourself off right away. Everything goes to work out, you just need to devote some of your time. Even the biggest layman, a person with left feet can turn out to be a born pole dancer in the future. Without work there is no wheel, but I guess that's the point, to gradually come to perfection while feeling great satisfaction.
